Situated just outside the unspoilt village of Miliou, in a valley surrounded by thickly wooded slopes, this gorgeous place occupies a former monastery (18 of the rooms are former monks’ cells). There is little that's monastic about the adjacent luxurious spa, all glossy marble and offering traditional healing treatments, such as the tempting Goddess Bath (€120), combined with the latest therapeutic techniques.
The mineral-rich spa water gurgles forth from the Ayi Anargyri springs, a centre of healing since the 17th century.
