Dežman Bar

Zagreb

Shielded from traffic inside the cosy passage leading to the semiwild Tuškanac forest, this cafe-cum-bar is a chic but casual spot to sink a few cocktails on the narrow terrace outside. There are organic teas by Les Jardins de Gaia and craft beer from the UK’s Brewdog.

For the peckish, who get too comfortable to move on, the sandwiches, cakes and tarts here (gluten-free bread available) are delicious.
