Hiže na Bregu, in the village of Hižakovec (near Donja Stubica), is a rural hideaway in the northern foothills of Mt Medvednica. The traditional Zagorje cottage, clad in wood, sleeps up to five with two doubles in the main house and a separate single cottage without en suite. There's a minimum stay of two nights.
