Đuđa i Mate

Southern Dalmatia

Established by two best friends a quarter of a century ago, this landmark restaurant is famous for its Neretva regional specialities, particularly frogs and eels. Try them fried, grilled or combined in a Neretva brudet – a flavourful spiced stew served with polenta. It also offers 45-minute 'safaris' along the Norin River in a shallow, traditional boat called a trupa.
