Palača Dešković

Brač Island

Built in 1467 but altered significantly in the 17th and 18th centuries, this grand old palace is now an atmospheric hotel. The 15 rooms are pleasantly furnished with antique-style furniture, and there's a restaurant, a bar and a large garden at the rear.
