Casem

Begun in 1982 as a women’s cooperative representing eight female artists, today Casem has expanded to reportedly include almost 150 local artisans (some of whom are men). It’s a nice story, but it's a rather underwhelming selection of stuff, including embroidered clothing, painted handbags, polished wooden tableware and some bookmarks and greeting cards.
