La Serrana

Salento

On a peaceful hilltop dairy farm with stunning valley views, this hostel/ecofarm has top-notch facilities and a fantastic atmosphere. The restaurant prepares good budget meals and there's a lovely yard in which to pitch a tent. There are also luxurious glamping tents that sleep up to three guests (COP$60,000 to COP$70,000). It's well worth the 20-minute walk from town.

If you've got heavy bags, hire a jeep (COP$6000).
