New Mandala Restaurant

Lhasa

This Nepali-run restaurant has good curries, thalis (set meals) and chicken sizzlers. The prime location overlooking Barkhor Sq was demolished in 2016 and the restaurant is now in a much less inspiring location, attached to the Mandala Hotel, just south of the old town. The owners also run the Tashi restaurants in Shigatse and Tsetang.
