Tibet Bike Hostel

Lhasa

This modern courtyard hostel (north of Beijing Donglu behind the Yak Hotel) is a decent option, especially if you speak some Chinese and want to connect with the many overland Chinese cyclists here. The en-suite rooms are bright, modern and good value, varying in size according to price, and the three-bed dorms come with shared hot showers and free washing-machine access.

The excellent top-floor double comes with its own private courtyard.
