Cool Yak Hotel

Lhasa

The great old-town location and the giant Tibetan thangka in the central courtyard are the most eye-catching things about this modern place. The carpeted rooms are fresh and comfortable, with good bathrooms, though there’s a definite lack of natural light. It’s hidden down an alley off Danjielin (Zangyiyuan) Lu. Single rooms are uncomfortably small.
