Hotels don't come with much more history than this appropriately named place. It was founded as a hotel during the Tang dynasty and is still the place to stay in Langzhong. There are multiple attractive courtyards, lots of weathered and termite-chewed timber, deliciously comfortable beds, and even an open-air stage (performances Friday and Saturday from 8pm to 10pm).
