This old building with more than 100 stalls is one of the best and easiest fabric markets for tourists as many of the stallholders speak a little English. Dresses and suits can be chosen from pattern books or copied from pictures and made up in a dizzying range of fabrics.

Cashmere and wool coats, curtains, suits and leather jackets can all be made to order for a fraction of the price you might spend elsewhere. Take your time when negotiating a price and examining the materials to make a good purchase. If you're not confident tackling the market alone, great shopping tours are available.
