Right on Beiyuanmen in the heart of the Muslim Quarter, this smart establishment serves classic Muslim dishes such as ròujiāmó (¥15), lamb kebabs (¥10 each), beef- or lamb-filled xiànbǐng (fried, crispy bread; ¥18 to ¥20), dumplings (¥15 to ¥18) and lovely grilled golden needle mushrooms (¥18).
There’s no English sign so look for the veil-adorned female waiting staff in the doorway.
