Jano’s Backpackers

Xi'an

Set in a little faux hútòng (narrow alleyway) with artist galleries and cafes nearby, Jano’s is a pleasant place to escape bustling Xi'an (though street-facing rooms get pub noise). Rooms are well-maintained and decorated in traditional style, including some with kang (heated beds). There's a lovely courtyard and the family rooms with mezzanine are excellent. Staff speak English.

There's a spacious cellar too, with table football.
