Wada Hostel Yulong River

Guangxi

One of few genuine budget places out this way is this long-established hostel that's now opened a branch here in Chaoyang Village, 5km from Yangshuo. Modern dorms are equipped with personal lamps, powerpoints and the privacy of curtains, while private rooms are basic but spacious and some have karst views. It has a small cafe and bicycle hire (per day ¥20).

A taxi here costs ¥30.
