Taj Mahal

Nanjing

The stab at a classy ambience doesn't quite succeed at Taj Mahal, but the menu's a winner. The spiciness of the mutton vindaloo may be slightly moderated to suit lightweight local palates, but it's still delicious. Samosas, onion bhaji, seekh kebah, chicken tikka, naan and a host of other choices are on offer.

There's a second branch near Nánjīng University at 187-1 Shanghai Lu (上海路187-1号).
