Potato Head

Hong Kong

The Hong Kong outpost of Potato Head, which started as a hipster beach club in Bali with killer cocktails, isn't so much a restaurant as a multiconcept events space with food and decks. It consists of an excellent Indonesian restaurant, Kaum, where you eat small plates off a long wooden table; a fun cocktail lounge; and a hidden Music Room at the back.

If you're not in the mood for a lavish meal, the cocktail lounge has a 'burgers and bowls' menu serving Western burgers and Asian bowl food (HK$85 to HK$130). Or there's bottomless brunch on weekends.

The intimate Music Room has 6000 vinyls you can play around with, and usually hosts live DJs Thursdays to Saturdays from 9pm til 2am; locals often book out areas in this room so come early if you're travelling solo and want to get in.
