Mango Guesthouse

Guangxi

By far the best budget choice in Beihai is this relaxed guesthouse at the eastern end of historic Zhuhai Lu. With its eponymous mango tree standing out front, it's an attractive spot, and the basic rooms are brightened with classy touches and decorative bedspreads. English-speaking manager Frank goes well beyond the scope of the job to help out.

There's a kitchen for self-caterers.
