Tara Cafe & Restaurant

Gansu

This traditionally styled and highly colourful restaurant on the ground floor of Tara Guesthouse is very good-looking indeed and serves excellent baked Tibetan dumplings (烤藏包, kǎozàngbāo; ¥36) and other Tibetan and Chinese dishes, and is popular with monks for its many vegetarian options and salads. Tara also serves coffee (from ¥15) and beer.
