The operation is run by Huasang, an environmentalist who has put the sustainable management of the grasslands at the core of his work, reflected in the on-site museum. The stove-heated library–common room is lovely (and the only wi-fi area).
It's a short walk down to the village. Rooms can get pretty cold in winter, but electric blankets are provided.
