Sanlitun doesn't do subtle, and nor does the InterCon, lit up like a Christmas tree in the heart of Beijing's best nightlife. Still a big chain at heart, the hotel tries a bit too hard to be hip, but the all-white guest rooms are sci-fi stylish, and the gym and pool are fantastic. Perfect for nightowls.
