Famous Tea of China

Beijing

A good place to stock your suitcase with China's finest if staying in the Gulou area, this tea shop is run by a couple from Fujian, China's tea heartland. Tea here is sold by the liǎng (50g), and you can buy mini 'cakes' of pǔ'ěr tea for just a few yuan, along with tea sets and gàiwǎn (lidded teapot/cup combo vessels for solo drinking).

Not much English spoken.
