A great-value choice for Beijing’s trinity of trad meats: Peking duck, roast mutton and donkey. The ducks (¥168) are cooked in hung ovens and carved theatrically at the front of the restaurant. Unlike Beijing's more distinguished duckeries, this is a spot to crack open a cold Yanjing beer or three, loosen your belt, and eat till you burst.
You can't miss the restaurant for its humongous painted páilóu facade. English picture menus available.
