The European Southern Observatory is home to an array of powerful telescopes, with many important discoveries emerging from astronomical research conducted here. You can learn more about the site on a public tour, conducted once a week. Tours take place at 2pm on Saturdays, though you must arrive no later than 1:30pm. You'll also need your own transportation.
