Se Cocina

Top choice in The Lakes District

Se Cocina is hit or miss, but even when it misses, this beautiful 1850s farmstead 2km from Frutillar is one of the most interesting foodie destinations on the lake. The daily changing menu marries Nueva Chilena cuisine with a modern atmosphere housed inside a historically protected farm.

Each day, there are a few choices of appetizer, main and dessert, all priced separately. It wouldn't be outrageous to see sous-chefs run from the open kitchen to the organic garden and grab some greens during service. Reservations essential – hours have been historically erratic. Call ahead outside high-season months. Cash only.
