This bike-themed hostel is little more than two four-bed dorms and a double built behind the amicable Chilean owner's home along the main road through Cochamó, but the facilities are quite good, with solid hardwood bunk beds, mirrors and wooden chairs. Shared bathrooms follow suit and include welcome design touches like recycled-tree-branch toilet-paper holders.
Owner Sixto does a great country breakfast, with fried churrasco (steak) bread, free-range eggs and great jams, honey and cheese. Wi-fi is via portable modem – Sixto will let you take it back to the dorms for a better signal. Cyclists are welcome to pop in for a coffee or snack when riding through!
