Parador Darwin

Chiloé

A tragic fire, a death in the family and a revolving door of owners/renters over the last few years has upended what was once Cucao's most interesting sleeping option. Now under youthful ownership, the guesthouse's rustic rooms feature colorful comforters and black ceramic bathrooms.

A snug converted garage serves as a small cafe, which becomes an evening hang-out lounge with live music (folk, electronica) in summer. Kayaks and bikes are available.
