Ancud's classiest bar is housed in a restored shingled Chilote house that hosted a social club of the same name in the 1960s and '70s. There's craft beer on tap – Cuello Negro and Kross – and Victorian-like sofas to lounge on.
Good pub grub (mains CH$8500 to CH$13,000) including pizza (the 'xl' feeds a small army), pasta and seafood (high marks for the ceviche and octopus) is also available.
