From outside it may resemble another outsized resort hotel, but step within and the Palm Beach becomes a riot of warm, enticing colours and vibrant modern design. Rooms are all different and snazzily presented, while the lobby is dotted with brightly striped sofas as massive abstracts decorate the walls and white tubular lambs and glass bowls of green apples add to the colourful overture.
For families, there are loads of activities for kids, from ping-pong to outdoor chess and tennis. Diving courses are offered, and there's also a spa.
