Auberge La Petite École de Forillon

Gaspé Peninsula

This well-managed year-round hostel in a brick former school building has an eight-bed dorm and 10 good-value private rooms with double-height windows and a variety of bed configurations; a few have views over the bay. The huge kitchen/dining area, with its rows of tables, feels (not surprisingly) like a school cafeteria, and there's even a playground outside for the kids.
