Palais Montcalm

Québec City

Just outside the walls of the Old Upper Town, this art-deco theater subtitled 'La Maison de la Musique' (The House of Music) hosts a stellar lineup of concerts year-round, featuring everything from opera and chamber music to jazz and rock. The main performance space, the Salle Raoul-Jobin, inaugurated in 2007 is renowned for its 'near perfect' acoustics.

The prestigious Club Musical de Québec of classical musicians is based here.
