Hôtel Château Bellevue

Québec City

This pleasant 47-room hotel behind the Château Frontenac spreads over four historic houses that face the Jardin de Gouverneurs. The cheaper rooms are rather cramped and lack style; instead choose one of the more expensive ones facing the river such as room 101. Furniture is locally made of Québec timber and there's a rare (for Old Québec) elevator.

We love the iPad stations in the rooms and self-serve wine machine in the lobby.
