College of Piping & Celtic Performing Arts

Prince Edward Island

Schooling students in the traditional instruments of Celtic music since the 1980s – from bagpipes to fiddles – this highly regarded music college also stages an impressive Celtic concert called 'Highland Storm' (adult tickets $46) in summer. Expect plenty of step dancing, stirring drums and haunting pipes.

In July and August, there are also hourly mini-concerts ($7) between 11am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
