Historic Properties

Halifax

The Historic Properties are a group of restored warehouse buildings on Upper Water St, built between 1800 and 1905, that have been converted into boutiques, restaurants and bars connected by waterfront boardwalks. The 1814 Privateers Warehouse was the former storehouse of government-sanctioned pirates and is the area's oldest stone building.

Among the other vintage buildings are the wooden Old Red Store, and Simon's Warehouse, built in 1854.
