Garrison Brewing Company

Halifax

A grandaddy of the Halifax brewing scene, Garrison is down by the waterfront in an impressive warehouse space full of upturned beer barrels and scuffed wood. There's a huge range of brews: if you're not sure which to pick, order a tasting flight of five (or 16, if you're really indecisive). There's a small patio out the front.

Brewery tours are available, and there's a shop with loads of Garrison gear.
