Located in an old firehouse, the Lake of the Woods Brewing Company taproom is an imposing figure in Kenora and has drastically improved the local food and drink culture. There's a rotating selection of seasonal beers in addition to the core range and the food (mains from $15) is gastropub-style with a wide variety of options from BBQ to poutine.
