Prince Edward Island Preserve Company

Prince Edward Island

This place carries on the old island tradition of making preserves, chutneys, marmalades, jellies and curds, many from local fruit. There's a cafe too, serving island dishes like hodgepodge haddock, seafood bubbly pie and maritime fish cakes – not to mention a bakeshop and a gift store.

Unfortunately, it's a favorite stop-off for tour buses, which can take the shine off things.
