Rossmount Inn

New Brunswick

Flags flap in the breeze in front of this stately yellow summer cottage, perched atop a manicured slope overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay. Inside the 17 elegant rooms have hand-carved wooden furniture and white linens. The feather overlays on the beds make for a cloud-like sleep. Dinner is available in the classy dining room by reservation only, as is breakfast.

Rossmount about 4.5km north of downtown St Andrews on Rte 127.
