Quantum Coffee

Vancouver

A sleek, high-ceilinged java joint where bleary-eyed office workers claim their first macchiato of the day. The angled marble counter is staffed by ever-friendly baristas extolling the virtues of the Quantum Planck: alongside the regular single-origin coffees and top-notch cold brews, it's an inventive seasonal beverage that's a cut above your average coffee.

A small glass cabinet holds gourmet muffins and croissants but the chunky cookies (especially salted chocolate caramel) are the way to go, or grab a cold bottle of kombucha or artisan ginger beer for your downtown wander.
