Vancouver

Vancouver's virtual golf club, this subterranean bar is home to six big-screen simulation bays where (from $50 per hour) you can swing a club at your choice of dozens of courses around the world. Add drinks and bar grub (pizzas recommended) and you've got the makings of a unique night out. On Sundays and Mondays, the simulators are half price.

You pay per bay rather than per person, so this is a good deal for small groups. Book ahead for the time you really want; you can reserve via the website up to three weeks in advance. And you don't have to play to hit the bar here; this is also a popular spot to catch TV sports with like-minded quaffers.
