Vancouver Canucks

Vancouver

Recent years haven't been hugely successful for Vancouver's National Hockey League (NHL) team, which means it's sometimes easy to snag tickets to a game if you're simply visiting and want to see what 'ice hockey' (no one calls it that here) is all about. You'll hear 'go Canucks, go!' booming from the seats and in local bars on game nights.

There's a large merchandise shop at the stadium, which is open even when there are no games; it's a good spot to pick up cool souvenirs for sporting kids (and adults) back home.
