Theatre Under the Stars

Vancouver

The charming Malkin Bowl provides an atmospheric alfresco stage for the summertime TUTS season, usually featuring two interchanging Broadway musicals. It's hard to find a better place to catch a show, especially as the sun fades over the surrounding Stanley Park trees. The troupe's production values have massively increased in recent years, and these productions are slick, professional and energetic.

It's one of the best ways to spend a summer evening in Vancouver, and many locals have been coming here for decades. Food and drinks are available on-site and bringing a blanket to wrap around you as the night cools is an excellent idea. Cast your eyes skyward for the occasional bat or bald eagle as well.
