Callister Brewing Company

Vancouver

One of East Vancouver's most intriguing microbrewery operations, Callister's red-painted exterior houses a Spartan former-industrial space tasting room with beer-barrel tables on a bare concrete floor. But there's nothing austere about the booze selection; three on-site nano-breweries share the same equipment to produce an ever-changing array of tempting brews. Order a selection of small-glass samples and dive right in.

There's often a sour beer or two to try here if you're feeling adventurous.
