Ucluelet's fanciest hotel feels like a transplant from Tofino. Set dramatically on the Pacific waterfront and painted the same gray hue as the rocks, it curves around the jagged shoreline seemingly oblivious to the stormy surf. Many rooms have great views of the choppy surf and, just in case yours doesn't, there's a vista-hugging restaurant specializing in regional nosh. The lobby-level bar is shaped like a rolling wave.
