This low-ceilinged designer 'shed' has kept expanding over the years, but has never lost its welcoming locals' hangout feel. The perfect spot to grab lunch (fish tacos and a patio seat will do nicely), Shelter becomes an intimate dinner venue every evening, when the menu ratchets up. Steak-frites and the 'Tofino surf' bowl (salmon, chicken and veg) call loudly.
