Head out just east of town to Mt Begbie's new tasting area and store to try the popular local brews. The Powerhouse Pale Ale and the Brave Liver, a seasonal winter Scottish pale ale (at 6.5%), should put a smile on your face. There's decent food plus both indoor and outdoor seating.
