Right next door to the Castle Mountain store, these log chalets are plain inside but offer a surprising number of mod-cons, including DVD players, dishwashers, wood-burning stoves and even iPod clock-radios. At $459, the top double-room chalets are decent value for families or two couples, but work out to be expensive for one or two travelers.
The site itself is quite cramped and can be noisy, with the busy lanes of Trans-Canada Hwy/Hwy 1 just to the west.
