Waterton Townsite Campground

Southern Alberta

Dominating the southern end of Waterton village, this campground is mainly an enormous, gopher hole–covered field aimed at RV campers. It has all the charm of camping in a grassy parking lot at a music festival – but the location is incredibly convenient. There are some tree-shaded sites near the edges, but by midsummer you'll be lucky to get anything. Book ahead.
