Black Dog Freehouse

Insanely popular with all types, the Black Dog is essentially a pub with some hidden extras: a rooftop patio, known as the 'wooftop patio,' a traditional ground-floor bar (normally packed cheek by jowl on weekday nights), and a basement that features live music, DJs and occasional parties. The sum of the three parts has become a rollicking Edmonton institution.
