Moose Hotel & Suites

Banff Town

Like a mountain lodge pumped up on steroids, the Moose is the biggest new hotel to hit Banff Ave in recent years. The rooftop pools, hot tubs and sauna looking out at the mountains are instantly seductive, while the 174 comfy rooms and suites – each with a patio or balcony – are spacious and agreeably done up in natural wood.

Environmentally friendly touches throughout the hotel include LED lighting, low-flush toilets, refillable water bottles for guests (in place of the plastic throw-away variety) and electric-car charging stations in the free underground parking garage. Other on-site amenities include the full-service Meadows Spa and the Pacini Italian restaurant. At the heart of the complex is the Corner House, a cute 1920s-vintage clapboard home, refurbished as a private suite.
